After both of us took several years to decompress from the stress of the way we worked as CEO's, we reconnected about our shared desire to support female leaders and visionaries.
Suspecting, but not wanting to assume, that we weren't the only type A, highly ambitious women struggling with a lack of balance and fulfillment, we embarked on a qualitative study. Interviewing dozens of women like us who had built successful businesses. We wanted to know what played a critical factor in their success.
What we discovered was women were seeking for what had brought us together to begin with: community, peer mentoring, a safe place to show up as our whole selves and cheer one another on as we expand traditional definitions of success.
We launched Kelia Partners to do just that. And the name Kelia is actually a hybrid of our daughters' names: Kennedy and Julia. Our goal is to push our generation of female leaders to greater heights so our daughters' generations have stronger more fulfilled and joyful women to look up to.
